Disaster Case Management

Disaster Case Management (DCM) helps individuals and families recover after a disaster by connecting them to resources, coordinating services, and providing advocacy to address unmet recovery needs. Case managers work alongside survivors to support long-term recovery based on each household’s circumstances.

Who DCM Serves

We support households directly impacted by the disaster who cannot recover on their own and meet local eligibility criteria. Priority is given to those facing greater barriers to recovery.

Households That May Need Additional Support

Additional support may be prioritized for older adults, people with disabilities, medically or emotionally fragile individuals, displaced households, single-parent families, those facing literacy or language barriers, undocumented individuals, refugees, and people with access or functional needs.
