Bree Jensen

Public Information Officer

Bree Jensen serves as the Public Information Officer for the Eaton Fire Collaborative, where she leads strategic communications, public engagement, media relations, and community messaging in support of long-term recovery efforts following the Eaton Fire. A total-loss survivor of the Eaton Fire, Bree brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role, ensuring that the voices and needs of survivors remain at the center of the Collaborative's communications.


Bree previously served as Vice Chair of the Board. As part of the organization's co-founding leadership team, she helped establish the Collaborative's governance, organizational structure, and strategic direction during the critical early stages of long-term recovery.


In addition to her role with the Collaborative, Bree is the Founder and CEO of The Social Impact Firm (TSIF), where she advises nonprofit organizations, foundations, public agencies, and mission-driven businesses on strategic communications, organizational development, fundraising, and community engagement. She has more than 20 years of experience advancing social impact initiatives focused on youth well-being, housing stability, and community resilience.


A recognized thought leader in the social impact sector, Bree has contributed to numerous media outlets, including Family Circle, NBC affiliates, CBS, and USA Today. Her professional experience spans higher education, K–12 education, corporate social responsibility, nonprofit leadership, and social entrepreneurship, providing a unique cross-sector perspective on building partnerships and advancing systems change.


Bree holds a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University. She is driven by a deep commitment to helping communities recover, rebuild, and emerge stronger through authentic collaboration, survivor-centered leadership, and meaningful community engagement.
