Judie Johnson
Treasurer
Judith (Judie) Johnson is a lifelong Pasadena resident, community leader, and passionate advocate for equitable and sustainable community development. A proud graduate of the Pasadena Unified School District, she attended John Muir High School before earning an Associate of Arts degree from Pasadena City College and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
Judie served honorably in the United States Navy for eight years, including an overseas assignment in Yokosuka, Japan. During her military service, she received specialized training in personnel administration and became a certified counselor for alcohol, drug abuse, and eating disorders, reflecting her lifelong commitment to supporting individuals and strengthening communities.
Following her military service, Judie built a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years in nonprofit leadership, grantmaking and grant administration, affordable housing, and community development. Her work has focused on expanding opportunities for seniors, low-income families, and underserved populations through strategic leadership, effective stewardship of resources, and community-centered service.
As Treasurer of the Eaton Fire Collaborative Board, Judie brings decades of experience in financial stewardship, governance, and organizational leadership. Her deep roots in Pasadena, commitment to service, and passion for community engagement continue to guide her work in advancing a survivor-centered long-term recovery for those impacted by the Eaton Fire.
A woman of strong faith and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Judie is dedicated to fostering collaboration, strategic planning, and meaningful community engagement that empowers neighborhoods to thrive for generations to come.
