Bree Jensen

Vice Chair

Bree Jensen is a social impact strategist, community relations leader, and the founder of The Social Impact Firm. A survivor of the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena, Bree has become a key voice in the region’s recovery, serving as a neighborhood captain, a community liaison for Habitat for Humanity, and a core leader in collaboratives. She also launched The Dena Report, a trusted weekly publication simplifying post-disaster updates, resources, and advocacy for fire-impacted residents.


With 20 years of experience championing youth well-being, education, and housing justice, Bree has worked across nonprofit, education, and corporate sectors to launch high-impact programs and campaigns. She has partnered with leading organizations to build communications strategies, advocacy efforts, and social impact initiatives that inspire change. Bree is also the host of The Social Impact Podcast, where she highlights leaders and solutions shaping a more equitable future.


Her work has been featured in Family Circle, NBC affiliates, CBS, and USA Today. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, where she now proudly serves on the program’s advisory board. Bree has helped launch nonprofits and social enterprises, consults on cause marketing and corporate social responsibility, and creates platforms for underrepresented voices to thrive.


Her favorite things are going on adventures with her four kiddos and collaborating with changemakers to design solutions that build stronger, more just communities.
