Jill Hawkins

Jill Hawkins is a Pasadena native who was born and raised in the Pasadena and Altadena communities and now proudly calls Sierra Madre home. For more than 30 years, she has worked alongside local nonprofit organizations, helping them elevate their missions through strategic event planning, fundraising, and community engagement. Her deep roots in the San Gabriel Valley, combined with her passion for service, have made her a trusted leader and collaborator throughout the region.

Jill began her event planning career in 1987, first working with several Tournament of Roses Parade float builders before moving into the world of high-end Hollywood events, where she helped produce luxury weddings, corporate celebrations, and private events. In 2002, she co-founded MHP Events, where she has spent more than two decades producing memorable experiences for nonprofit organizations, corporations, and community partners. She also serves as a Lead Event Manager with tbg Events, overseeing large-scale productions for organizations including the Milken Institute, National Wildlife Federation, and the LA84 Foundation. Her expertise in logistics, operations, and relationship management has earned her a reputation for delivering complex events with creativity, precision, and professionalism.

Beyond her professional career, Jill is deeply committed to serving her community. She currently serves as a Committee Chair for the Tournament of Roses and is the Past President of the John Muir High School Alumni Association. Following the Eaton Fire, she co-founded the Eaton Fire Collaborative, helping unite more than 200 nonprofit, government, faith-based, and community organizations to coordinate long-term recovery efforts for fire survivors. Whether leading major events, strengthening nonprofit organizations, or building partnerships that create lasting community impact, Jill remains dedicated to bringing people together and making a meaningful difference in the community she has proudly called home her entire life.
