Mayra Macedo-Nolan

Mayra Macedo-Nolan grew up in East Los Angeles and has lived in Pasadena for more than two decades. She most recently served on the pastoral staff of Lake Avenue Church, a congregation rooted in Pasadena for over 120 years. For nearly two decades, she has led in the local community, casting vision for neighbor-centered engagement and advancing work at the intersection of faith, justice, and community development.
Mayra brings deep experience in community leadership, organizational governance, and cross-sector collaboration. Her work has focused on strengthening local networks, developing emerging leaders, and supporting communities through complex social challenges. She is widely recognized for mentoring younger leaders and amplifying the voices and leadership of the next generation.
In addition to her role as Executive Director of the Clergy Community Coalition, Mayra serves on local and national boards and committees, including The Voices School for Liberation and Transformation. She is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA).
Mayra and her husband, Chris, have raised their four children in Pasadena, where they remain deeply engaged in community life.
