Yoland Treviño, M.A. Mrs. Trevino is Board President and Executive Director of Pactl.org, a nonprofit Family Resource Center in Pasadena, CA. Pactl.org provides innovative and crucial programs for area children, parent, families, and professionals of the Greater San Gabriel Valley and Pacoima since 2011. Pactl.org works to advance social justice and transformative community leadership, though its human centered, parent and youth led programs and services.

Mrs. Trevino has devoted her professional career and international work to addressing social challenges of the world. While Mrs. Trevino has been greeted by former U.S. Presidents and world dignitaries, she is most excited to have met Nelson Mandela and Mother Theresa. Mrs. Trevino was born in Guatemala and immigrated to the USA as a youth in 1996. She is married, the mother of two adult professionals, and grandmother to two college students. She moved to Pasadena in 1974 and has been locally engaged since that time. In 1995, Mrs. Trevino worked with the former City of Pasadena Mayor Katie Nack, the City Counsel, and many other agencies, to organize a forum Neighborhoods and Family Community, featuring Marian Wright Edelman as the keynote speaker. Mrs. Trevino has served on several local boards, including Five Acres, Day One and Pacific Oaks College.

Mrs. Trevino served for eight years as the Global Council Chair, for United Religions Initiative an international organization dedicated to ending religiously motivated violence and as such traveled to more than 50 countries. In addition, she has served on many national and international committees including the Domestic Policy Council (for the Clinton administration) and is a United Nations delegate for indigenous leaders.

Mrs. Trevino is a visionary educator and trainer focused on personal and organizational change. She is the former Director of the Vaughn Family Center in Pacoima California and received national and international recognition for its innovative programs. After 25 years of working in the fields of education, health, psychology, family support, and community development, Mrs. Treviño founded the consultancy Transformative Collaborations International, TCI, in 1996. Additionally, Mrs. Trevino is a member of the Indigenous People Permanent Forum at the United Nations.

Mrs. Trevino is deeply passionate about the natural leadership of parents and youth and believes that parents are powerful teachers. Mrs. Trevino is a published author and is a sought-after bilingual keynote speaker. She has trained diverse groups from corporations, academia, and community-based organizations in the United States and abroad in Transformative Leadership using innovative strength-based approaches.
